Czech finished steel output rises, Slovak production falls in September
Finished steel output (excluding pipe) increased by 8.19% on-year in the Czech Republic in September to 398,940 tonnes, after falling by -2.5% y-o-y in August. In neighbouring Slovakia this output went down -4.21% in September to 353,770t following a 13.16% growth in the previous month, Kallanish learns from the Steel Federation (HZ) of the Czech and Slovak Republics.
