Czech finished steel output rises in May, Slovakian falls
Czech Republic's finished steel output (excluding pipe) increased 7.19% year-on-year to 472,310 tonnes in May, after rising 12.65% y-o-y in April. In neighbouring Slovakia this output slipped -1.47% to 356,460t following a 7.14% rise in the previous month, Kallanish learns from the Steel Federation (HZ) of the Czech and Slovak Republics.
