Czech and Slovak steel output rises in November
Slovakian finished steel output (excluding pipe) surged 21% on-year in November to 381,290 tonnes, while in the Czech Republic it rose 3.4% to 418,320t, Kallanish learns from the Steel Federation (HZ) of the Czech and Slovak Republics.
Slovak pipe output rose 1% in November to 17,780t, but Czech output fell -4.1% to 38,440t.
Crude steel output rose 8.3% in the Czech Republic in November to 437,410t and 22.4% in Slovakia to 413,790t.
