CSP slab exports move down in July
Brazilian slab producer Companhia Siderúrgica do Pecém (CSP) decreased its exports both month-on-month and year-on-year in July, according to data issued by the local port authority. Cumulative shipments, however, were higher y-o-y, Kallanish notes.
CSP’s slab shipments totalled 253,755 tonnes in July, down 1.8% versus 253,755t in the previous month and just 0.6% less over the corresponding period in 2020.
