CSN signs contract to develop Itaguai port
The Brazilian port authority (SEP) has approved a proposal issued by the steelmaker Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional (CSN), and extended the contract that allows the company to use the Itaguai port, Rio de Janeiro state.
Following the renewal, the steelmaker is expected to invest BRL 2.51 billion ($703 million) to both improve the facility and maintain the site operational, Kallanish learns from SEP.
