CSN gradually restarts ore production at Fernandinho mine
Brazilian Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional says that it is gradually resuming iron ore production at its Fernandinho mine after having implemented significant safety improvements at the B2 structure. The dam is owned by Minérios Nacional, part of the company's mining arm CSN Mineração, Kallanish notes.
The national mining agency (ANM) has reduced the B2 dam's emergency protocol to level 1.
