CSI names Vale exec as new ceo
Western US flat-rolled steel and pipe producer California Steel Industries (CSI) has named a new ceo, chairman of the board and executive vice president of operations, Kallanish learns from a company release.
Marcelo Botelho will replace retiring ceo Toshiuki Tamai effect 1 August. Tamai has served in the steel industry for 43 years, both in the US and Japan, and has been ceo of CSI since 2012.
