CSI names Tanaka as new president, ceo
California Steel Industries (CSI) has named a former JFE Steel executive as its new president and ceo, Kallanish learns from a company statement.
Shinji Tanaka will succeed Marcelo Botelho effective immediately. Botelho had served as the company’s president and ceo since August 2016.
Prior to joining CSI in January, Tanaka served as the executive vice president of engineering and continuous improvement at Japan’s JFE Steel.
