CSC’s earnings retreat in May as sales fall

Taiwan’s China Steel Corporation (CSC) has seen its revenue and profits fall in May along with a drop in carbon steel sales, following an increase one month earlier, Kallanish notes. In the given month, CSC sold 824,849 tonnes of carbon steel, down 0.4% from April but up 2.9% year-on-year.
