CSC to levy carbon surcharge on exports

Taiwan’s leading steel producer China Steel Corporation (CSC) has decided to impose a “carbon surcharge” on exported steel products from next year. It is the first steelmaker that has announced such a scheme in Asia, Kallanish notes.
