CSC reports losses despite October revenue growth

Taiwan’s China Steel Corporation (CSC) has reported growth in its October sales and revenue, but it was still operating in the red, according to the company’s release on Monday. In October, CSC sold 636,115 tonnes of carbon steel, up 11.6% month-on-month and down 18.7% year-on-year. Year-to-date sales were down 9.4% y--o-y at 7.28 million t, Kallanish notes.
