CSC raises prices for first quarter 2017 shipments
Taiwan’s China Steel Corporation (CSC) has raised the prices for its basket of steel products for the first quarter of 2017, the company says in an announcement.
The integrated steelmaker will raise its prices for Q1 2017 deliveries by an average of 12.6% it says. This is due to a combination of steel prices rising in the international market and soaring raw material costs. Its steelmaking costs will have increased in Q1 by more than $150/tonne from Q3 201…
