CSC raises October, fourth-quarter quotes

Taiwan’s largest steelmaker, China Steel Corporation (CSC), raised offers on Thursday for both October and the fourth quarter, due to rising raw materials and hikes by other major Asian steelmakers, Kallanish notes. For domestic sales in October, CSC hiked quotations for all products by TWD 500/tonne ($15.7/t). This is less than the price increase of TWD 500-900/t for September sales.
