CSC’s July income hikes on rising steel prices
Taiwan’s China Steel Corporation (CSC) saw revenue and profit increase in July thanks to rising steel prices, although the company’s steel sales fell by 0.74% from June to 800,114 tonnes, Kallanish notes.
January-July sales reached 5.72 million tonnes and operating revenue was NTD 255 billion ($9.16 billion), of which 81.5% was accounted for directly by steel products.
