CSC hikes August offers on better outlook
Taiwan’s China Steel Corporation (CSC) last week hiked August offers of some major products, and maintained others, according to the company’s release.
For domestic sales of common hot rolled plate/coils, CRC and hot-dip galvanized coils for building materials, CSC added TWD 300/tonne ($9.94/t) on their August quotations, Kallanish notes. This compares with a price reduction of TWD 1,200-1,500/t last week.
