Argentina crude steel output tumbles as Chinese imports balloon

Argentina’s steel industry continued to struggle in June, Kallanish learns from the country’s steel association, Acero Argentino. During the month, crude steel production fell by -6.9% year-on-year to 444,600 tonnes, whilst output between January and June reached 2.4 million tonnes, or -9.8% less y-o-y.
