Cronimet strengthens Germany-Slovenia rail connection
German freight railways operator company DB Cargo has launched a new regular shuttle service between southern Bavaria and Slovenia.
Since August, it has been sending five trains back and forth, crossing the border between the countries, Kallanish learns from the subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn. The service was established upon instigation by stainless scrap merchant Cronimet ALFA in Munich, which supplies a Slovenian special steel mill, DB Cargo notes.
