Crescent sees improving pipe/billet demand, lifts production
Crescent Steel & Allied Products says infrastructure expansion projects including RLNG-III will trigger near-term Pakistani line pipe demand. In the longer run pipe use in construction and water management networks is seen picking up.
Crescent’s billet plant, meanwhile, is seen benefiting from rebar demand driven by Public Sector Development Programme- and China-Pakistan Economic Corridor-related construction activity.
