Covid-19 bites into Carpenter Technology earnings
US specialty steel producer Carpenter Technology Corporation saw its profits slip in the fiscal third-quarter, partially due to Covid-19 disruptions, Kallanish reports.
For the quarter ended 31 March, Carpenter earned $39.9 million on sales of $585.4m. In fiscal Q3 2019, the company earned $51.1m on sales of $609.9m.
