Court rejects Romanian mill restructuring amendments, orders bankruptcy
The Dambovita Court has rejected the amended restructuring plan for Combinatul de Oteluri Speciale (COS) Targoviste proposed by creditor Alpha Financial and ordered the restart of the insolvent rebar mill’s bankruptcy procedure by 19 October.
The court also rejected a claim by COS Targoviste creditor Distribuţie Energie Electrică România that the mill’s bankruptcy application is inadmissible.
