Court sets date for USW, USS showdown
The Ontario Superior Court has agreed to hear argument from the United Steelworkers labour union and US Steel Canada on 7 and 8 October, Kallanish understands from a union update.
The hearing on US Steel’s request for suspended health care and pension payments and its decision to move some Canadian auto steel production to the US was originally scheduled for 30 September.
