Costs, stoppages cut SIJ profit despite higher sales
Special steelmaker Slovenian Steel Group (SIJ) has reported a 6.3% on-year increase in sales in 2018 to €802.8 million ($903.8m), of which 84.6% was generated by exports.
Ebitda, however, slumped -32.8% to €50.2m and Ebitda margin declined -3.6 percentage points to 6.3%. Net profit fell -66% to €4.9m.
