Costlier raw materials lift Turkish merchant bar quotes
Turkish merchant bar producers further increased their export quotes last week amid continuously rising raw material prices, notes Kallanish.
On Friday, producers’ official export quotes were pegged mostly at around $610-625/tonne fob Turkey for angles, $620-635/t for IPN-UPN sections, $630-645/t for flat bars, and $620-635/t for IPE sections. Angles prices were up from $600-620/t fob a week earlier.
