Costlier raw materials lift Turkish merchant bar prices
Turkish merchant bar producers increased their quotes last week due to the rises seen in scrap and billet prices.
On Friday, most producers’ export quotes were pegged at $750-770/tonne fob Turkey for angles, $760-780/t for IPN-UPN sections, $770-790/t for flat bars, and $760-780/t for IPE sections, up $20/t from the previous week.
