Cost review reaffirms Zanaga Congo ore project viability
Zanaga Iron Ore Company (ZIOC)’s prospective Republic of Congo iron ore mine has received a boost after an external independent review confirmed capital and operating costs for Stage One remain approximately within the 2014 feasibility study guidance.
Stage One of ZIOC's prospective mine consists of a 12 million tonnes/year of 66% Fe pellet feed operation, with stage two expanding the operation by a further 18m t/y to 30m t/y.
