Coronavirus pressures prices, sales soar: Aisha Steel
Pakistani steel prices are currently under pressure from the coronavirus outbreak, with the market very cautious, but local demand should improve in the longer term, says Aisha Steel Mills (ASML).
ASML’s net sales in the second fiscal quarter through December 2019 (FQ2) surged 153% on-year to PKR 11.39 billion ($73.8 million), while net loss narrowed 53% to PKR 81.3m.
In the six months through December shipments more than doubled on-year to 153,040 tonnes. …
