Containerised scrap prices inch up in Taiwan
Containerised scrap import deals have inched higher in Taiwan, Kallanish notes. There are signs however that prices could be peaking amid the downward price correction for billet in China.
Transactions for containerised US-origin HMS 1&2 80:20 late last week closed at $343/tonne cfr Taiwan, up $3/t from last Thursday.
