Construction, price recovery support MMK Metalurji's Q2 sales
Turkish cold rolled and galvanizer MMK Metalurji's second-quarter finished steel sales rose 5.7% over Q1 to 213,000 tonnes, driven by seasonal recovery in construction demand and higher prices in the domestic market.
The company raised hot-dip galvanized coil sales 17.1% quarter-on-quarter to 131,000t, benefitting from the favourable situation on the galvanized steel market, its Russia-based parent firm MMK says in a statement monitored by Kallanish.
