Construction boosts CMC Poland shipments, prospective line advances
CMC Poland saw steel shipments rise 17% on-year in the first fiscal quarter through November 2020 to 397,000 short tons. Poland’s resilient construction sector continued to support rebar volumes, while wire rod and merchant bar shipments were boosted by an improvement in Central European manufacturing activity, says US parent CMC.
