Conares commissions new pipe mill
United Arab Emirates re-roller Conares has commissioned its new 250,000 tonnes/year electric resistance welded (ERW) pipe mill, thereby doubling its overall pipemaking capability.
The mill, located in Jebel Ali, Dubai, will produce 4-12-inch diameter pipe, adding to the firm’s existing 0.5-4 inch dia range. Its commissioning was initially scheduled at the end of 2017 but was delayed due to a longer-than-expected wait to receive electricity supply…
