Commerce hits Chinese stainless imports with countervailing duties
The US Department of Commerce has preliminarily assigned countervailing duties to stainless sheet and strip from China, Kallanish learns from a department release.
The preliminary duties range from 57.3% to 193.12%. The department is expected to make its final determination on or about November 23. The determination must then be ratified by the US International Trade Commission.
