Colombian longs output rebounds further, imports grow
Colombian long steel production rose both month-on-month and on-year in July, Kallanish learns from local steel producers' association Comité Colombiano de Productores de Acero (CCPA).
Colombia produced 147,198 tonnes of long steel during the month, up almost 10.4% compared to 133,372t in June, and 29,433t higher year-on-year. January-July production amounted to 883,253t, up 50.8% y-o-y.
