Colombia’s October rebar output rose sequentially, rod slipped
Colombian rebar production rose month-on-month in October 2022, Kallanish learns from local steel producers' association Comité Colombiano de Productores de Acero (CCPA). Meanwhile, wire rod output fell compared to September, although only slightly.
Colombia produced 98,506 tonnes of rebar during the month, up 10.9% over September but 15,573t weaker year-on-year. Ten-month output was 984,301t, down 5.8% over January-October 2021.
