Colombia’s iron ore output drops in second quarter
Colombia saw iron ore production in the second quarter fall both on-quarter and year-on-year, Kallanish learns from national mining body Agencia Nacional de Minería (ANM).
The country’s iron ore output reached 127,395 tonnes in Q2, down 25.8% compared to 171,613t in Q1. This volume was also 61,047t or 32.4% weaker versus the same period of last year, ANM data show.
