Colombia’s April crude steel production grows, longs slip
Colombian crude steel output rose month-on-month in April, Kallanish learns from local steel producers' association Comité Colombiano de Productores de Acero (CCPA). Long products output, however, remained weak.
The steel association’s report covers the five local long steel producers: Acerías Paz del Río, Gerdau Diaco, Siderúrgica Nacional (Sidenal), Siderúrgica del Occidente (Sidoc) and Ternium.
