Colombian third-quarter iron ore output increases
Colombia saw its iron ore production rise in the third quarter, Kallanish learns from national mining body Agencia Nacional de Minería (ANM). Cumulative output in the first nine months of 2020 was also higher on-year.
The country’s iron ore output reached 199,757 tonnes in Q3, up 28.7% compared to the volume of 155,205t in Q2. This volume was also 29.1% over the 154,765t reported in Q3 2019, ANM data show.
