Colombian iron ore output improves in 2020
Colombian iron ore production grew quarter-on-quarter and year-on-year in the last quarter of 2020, Kallanish learns from national mining body Agencia Nacional de Minería (ANM). Full-year output was also higher y-o-y.
The country’s iron ore output reached 216,034 tonnes in Q4, up 8.1% compared to the volume of 199,757t in the previous quarter. This volume was also 27.1% over the 169,864t reported in Q4 2019, ANM data show.
