Colombian crude steel, longs output rise in 2021
Colombia ended 2021 with crude and long steel production growth. Softening demand, however, resulted in a fall in December output, while high steel prices supported growing imports, Kallanish learns from local steel producers’ association Comité Colombiano de Productores de Acero (CCPA).
