Colombia increases iron ore output in second quarter
Colombia saw iron ore production in the second quarter grow both on-quarter and year-on-year, Kallanish learns from national mining body Agencia Nacional de Minería (ANM).
The country’s iron ore output reached 188,442 tonnes in Q2, up 124.6% compared to 83,890t in Q1. This volume was also 21.4% up on the same period of last year, ANM data show.
