Colombian long steel production grows in July
Colombia’s steel sector saw both year-on-year and year-to-date crude steel and long steel production increase in July. This is according to the latest report from local steel producers' association Comité Colombiano de Productores de Acero (CCPA), monitored by Kallanish.
Crude steel output totalled 122,242 tonnes in July, 1.8% higher or 2,190t more than in June and also up by 6.0% y-o-y. Seven-month crude steel production was 795,277t,…
