Coking coal rises amid tight supply, restocking demand
Australian fob coking coal prices continued to rise during the week ended 1 December on tight supply and restocking demand.
Kallanish assessed premium hard coking coal at $328.9/tonne fob Australia, up $7.45/t from $321.45/t fob the previous week.
On the Singapore Exchange, Premium Coking Coal Futures for January settled at $329/t fob on Friday. This versus December settlement price of $320/t fob a weak earlier.
