Coking coal rises amid increased buying interest
Australian fob coking coal rose marginally during the week ended 2 August amid increased buying interest.
Kallanish assessed premium hard coking coal at $216.41/tonne fob Australia, up $4.33/t from $212.08/t fob the previous week.
On the Singapore Exchange, Premium Coking Coal Futures for September settled at $227/t fob on Friday. This was versus the August settlement price of $214/t fob a week earlier.
