Coking coal accounts for 18% of coal trade: Euracoal
Coking coal accounted for 200 million tonnes of the 1.1 billion tonnes of global seaborne hard coal trade in 2015, according to the European Association for Coal and Lignite (Euracoal). Production of the coke-making feedstock declined by 100mt on-year to 900mt last year.
