CMC Poland rebar sales end year with rebound
CMC Poland saw a 12% on-year increase in rebar shipments in the fourth fiscal quarter though August to 145,000 short tons, while merchant bar sales rose 9% to 289,000st. This was due to continued “… very strong” long products demand in Poland, US parent CMC says in a report seen by Kallanish.
Net sales grew 26% to $253.06 million, while adjusted Ebitda surged 66% to a quarterly-high in the current fiscal year of $36.65m.
