CMC Poland foresees strong construction following shipments drop
CMC foresees a strong upcoming construction season in Poland after its electric arc furnace-based mill there reported a -12% on-year drop in shipments in the quarter through February.
Shipments in the February quarter, CMC Poland’s second fiscal quarter, fell to 304,000 short tons, with merchant bar sales down -5% to 238,000st and rebar deliveries down -31% to 66,000st.
