CMC acquires GalvaBar assets
US recycler and longs producer Commercial Metals Company (CMC) has acquired nearly all the assets of AZZ's continuous galvanized rebar business GalvaBar, Kallanish reports.
In an announcement released earlier today, both CMC and AZZ confirmed the divestment of AZZ's GalvaBar assets and the subsequent acquisition of these assets by CMC. However, the terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
