Cleveland-Cliffs wins Nashwauk iron ore fight
US iron ore producer Cleveland-Cliffs has prevailed in a state bankruptcy court regarding its on-going fight with Mesabi Metallics over a Nashwauk, Minnesota, iron ore deposit.
The former assets of Essar Steel Minnesota rightfully belong to Cleveland-Cliffs, according to the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. Cleveland-Cliffs acquired the land and its iron ore deposits in 2017, Kallanish notes.
