Cleveland-Cliffs temporarily halts Ohio briquette facility construction
US iron ore and steel producer Cleveland-Cliffs has temporarily halted construction of its Toledo, Ohio, hot-briquetted iron (HBI) facility due to Covid-19 restrictions, Kallanish reports.
The shutdown is in response to restrictions put in place by the governor of Ohio regarding non-essential business activity. It is effective immediately.
