Cleveland-Cliffs holds the line in Q2
US iron ore producer Cleveland-Cliffs held net income essentially level on year in the second quarter, Kallanish learns from the company’s quarterly earnings review.
Cleveland earned $161 million on sales of $743m in Q2, slightly down from Q2 2018’s $165m on sales of $714m. Cost of goods sold during the quarter rose from $430m to $480m.
Q2 also contained a one-time $18m loss related to debt extinguishment.
