CITIC Special Steel grows first-half profit
Major eastern Chinese special steel producer CITIC Special Steel reported higher revenue and profit during the first half of 2021, due to increased deliveries and steel prices, Kallanish notes.
The company's H1 operating revenue was CNY 49 billion ($7.56 billion), up by 34.83% year-on-year. Net profit attributable to shareholders was CNY 4.19 billion, an increase of 52.29%.
